Graveyard Sounds; Haunting Words by Edgar Allan Poe and Emily Dickinson: Thursday, 10/16/25 at 6 PM

Greet Halloween with delightfully spooky poems and stories by two American masters, Emily Dickinson and Edgar Allan Poe. The recital features gruesome poems in a pounding cadence by Poe, his sinister short story The Tell-Tale Heart, and quietly haunting, eerie and elusive works by Dickinson. Helpful explanations provided with each of the time-honored works help you fully understand, appreciate and enjoy them. Creepy props enhance the Halloween atmosphere. The program includes summaries of the lives of the two celebrated poets, Dickinson and Poe. The recital is presented by Jeffrey Zygmont, poet, author, and publisher.
