Online Research

Newspapers We have an assortment of newspapers that we encourage you to come inside the Library to read. They are not available for loan but we have a lovely reading area to relax in while you read the Boston Globe, Manchester Union Leader, Lawrence Eagle Tribune and the Carriage Towne News.

New in 2024 is ProQuest, a database which will give you news from around the world via access with your Kimball Library card.  U.S. Major Dailies provides access to the five most respected U.S. national and regional newspapers: The New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune, and the Wall Street Journal.

In addition, you can access to the the Boston Globe.  To simplify your search we have created links to each of the Major Dailies and the Boston Globe:

Log into our catalog with your patron barcode ID and password to access the link. Log into your existing WSJ account, or create a new one if you don’t already have one.
