Register your children for 1000 Books Before Kindergarten so they can be literary superstars!
Children from birth through kindergarten graduation are eligible to be part of this program. For every 100 books that are read to them, they move up a level. There are small prizes and sticker incentives along the way. It’s time to get started!

Our Head of Youth Services and Assistant Director, Kathy Watson was honored yesterday with a 2023 Educator Award from the Plaistow Community YMCA. In 2015, Kathy was also named Librarian of the Year by the Children’s Librarians of New Hampshire. The Kimball Library has an amazingly talented and devoted staff of which Kathy is certainly one!
