Join us for a hands-on dinosaur volcano class! Kids will sculpt a volcano using a pinch-pot technique, add a glowing surprise inside with a battery-operated candle, and create a dinosaur attached to the outside of their volcano. Once the air-dry clay is complete, students will paint their sculpture with acrylics, bringing their prehistoric scene to life. It will be ready to take home by the end of the class.

Step back in time to the age of dinosaurs for an interactive, puzzle-filled escape room experience at the library! Participants will work in teams to solve a series of prehistoric-themed challenges, crack hidden codes, and unlock clues before time runs out.

Infamous American patriot Paul Revere even crafted dedicated drinking chocolate pots. Boston and the state of Massachusetts have many historical connections to chocolate that continue on from that point in time, including being the home of the very first chocolate…

Youth ages 8 and up are invited to design and paint their own unique ‘guardian dinosaurs’ using acrylic paint. Ms. Cinda will guide you with some tips and tricks while you’ll have complete control over your dinosaur. The only limitation is your imagination!
