An Evening with Laura Knoy – Author Talk: The Shopkeeper of Alsace: Thursday, 6/18/26 at 6 PM

Join us for an evening with best-selling author and former NHPR host Laura Knoy as she talks about her latest historical novel, The Shopkeeper of Alsace.  An uplifting and inspiring story of a Jewish family’s resilience during the World Wars in France, inspired by a real woman Laura met as an exchange student.

Perfect for fans of We Were the Lucky Ones, The Nightingale, and The Alice Network, this dramatic debut brings to life a little-known corner of wartime history—and an inspiring real-life heroine you’ll cheer for.

Following the talk and Q & A, books will be available for purchase and signing.

Laura Knoy founded New Hampshire’s most widely respected and recognized public radio program, “The Exchange,” which she hosted for 25 years. Laura has also worked at the national level; newscasting, hosting and reporting for NPR.
