I am a charcoal and pen-and-ink artist, inspired by memories, observation and imagination. My charcoal drawings often lean toward photorealism, capturing intricate details, while my pen-and-ink illustrations explore the whimsical theme of treehouses.

Discover how to create a fantastic work of art from a piece of foam! We’ll explore the art of printmaking with simple, easy, and fun to use materials. Participants will create a unique image by indenting a foam block with pencil, then we’ll roll on ink with a brayer (similar to a paint roller) and press it onto colorful paper to make prints. This event is part of the Unearth a Story Summer Reading Program.… 
In this fun painting program, kids will create an orange, spotted long-neck dinosaur happily munching on leafy greens against a vibrant green background. Along the way, young artists will explore color mixing, pattern, and brush techniques while adding their own creative details. There’s plenty of room for dinosaur lovers to add their own special touches, such as a volcano in the background or a silly hat!
Dress for a mess… 
Join us for a hands-on dinosaur volcano class! Kids will sculpt a volcano using a pinch-pot technique, add a glowing surprise inside with a battery-operated candle, and create a dinosaur attached to the outside of their volcano. Once the air-dry clay is complete, students will paint their sculpture with acrylics, bringing their prehistoric scene to life. It will be ready to take home by the end of the class.
Dress… 
This hands-on workshop introduces the basics of charcoal drawing in a supportive, no-pressure environment. Learn simple techniques for shading, blending, and mark-making, then use them to create a finished 5×7 birdhouse drawing.
No drawing experience is necessary. Class size is limited. A $5 non-refundable materials fee must be paid in advance to reserve your spot. Register at the main circulation desk.
