Why organize a gathering time to ‘just’ play? Play improves the cognitive, physical, social, and emotional well-being of children and young people. Through play, children learn about the world and themselves. They also learn skills they need for study, work and relationships such as: confidence.
Caregivers also need time to connect and form relationships with other adults who are caring for similar aged children. If a time is organized, we can be assured that the littles have someone to play with and the adults have someone to talk with.
Drop in on Mondays from 11-12. Building toys for toddlers will be out in the meeting room as well as our other toys in the Children’s Room such as coloring, Lego table, train table, kitchen set and more!
