Tween Book Discussion: Wednesday, February 6, 2019 @6:30

The book of the month is Petey by Ben Mikaelsen
Petey is a touching story of friendship, discovery, and the domination of the human spirit over physical obstacles. The arc of a life bound by cerebral palsy is portrayed in this riveting novel from Ben Mikaelsen. In 1922 Petey, who has cerebral palsy, is misdiagnosed.

We meet the FIRST Wednesday evening of each month from 6:30-7:30pm to discuss the book selected. Refreshments and thought-provoking conversation will be served. All interested tweens are welcome. (Not young adults, not children — hence, TWEENagers in grades 5-7.) Please ask for a copy of the current book at the front desk.

Register once and we’ll keep your name on until June. Non-resident friends are welcome.
