FIND THE LIBRARY AT YOUR PLACE is the theme for National Library Week April 19-25, 2020.
This week, the Kimball Library invites all community members to find the library at their place by visiting our website to access virtual services and resources.
In times of crisis, libraries respond to their community’s needs in innovative and inspiring ways. Throughout the coronavirus pandemic, libraries continue to make a difference in people’s lives by providing electronic learning resources and information about keeping you family safe and well. At Kimball Library, there are a wide array of virtual services available to download or stream such as: audiobooks, books, movies, music, magazines, classes and much more.
National Library Week is a time to highlight the valuable role libraries, librarians and library workers play in transforming lives and strengthening communities. This year, the public can show their appreciation and support for libraries by visiting their library’s website, following them on social media and using the hashtag #NationalLibraryWeek.

SOME FUN WAYS TO SUPPORT US THIS WEEK INCLUDE:
- Show appreciation for library workers by nominating someone for the ALA-APA’s Submit a Star program, which recognizes the public’s favorite library employees.
- Participate in the national #ThankYouLibraries promotion.
- Join in a collective read of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone for unlimited ebook and audiobook downloads. (The book is available to public libraries using OverDrive through the end of April.)
